Certified Nursing Assistant
Description Summary:
- The C.N.A. is responsible to provide personal care services as directed by the RN or therapist to assigned patients.
- Responsible to report changes in patient condition or questions regarding the plan of care.
- The certified nursing assistant is a vital member of the interdisciplinary team including RN, LPN, CNA, PT, PTA, OT, COTA, SLP, and MSW.
- The CNA works under supervision of the RNs, PTs, OTs, and SLPs
- This position reports to the clinical coordinator.
Education and Experience Summary:
- Must meet state requirements for home health education hours for a CNA
- Home health experience preferred
- Must have CPR certification
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment.
- Valid driver’s license and auto liability insurance with reliable transportation to travel to patient homes per patient schedule and agency needs.
