Business Support Specialist
Description Summary:
- The business support specialist position is responsible for non-clinical operations to include but not be limited to accurate data entry, correct filing in the medical record, provision of accurate information to callers into the agency/branch, and overall support to the agency operation.
- The business support specialist at the parent location reports to the business office manager. In the branch, the position reports to the business office supervisor.
Education and Experience Summary:
- Must have high school diploma or GED
- Minimum 1 year of business operations experience, preferable in a health care setting
- Knowledge of Horizon software preferred
- Home Health Care experience is preferred
- Medical terminology preferred
