Business Support Specialist


Description Summary:

  • The business support specialist position is responsible for non-clinical operations to include but not be limited to accurate data entry, correct filing in the medical record, provision of accurate information to callers into the agency/branch, and overall support to the agency operation. 
  • The business support specialist at the parent location reports to the business office manager.  In the branch, the position reports to the business office supervisor.

 

Education and Experience Summary:

  • Must have high school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 1 year of business operations experience, preferable in a health care setting
  • Knowledge of Horizon software preferred
  • Home Health Care experience is preferred
  • Medical terminology preferred
