Our pediatric nurses have experience in a wide variety of areas, and can provide wonderfully supportive skilled nursing for your child. We are able to assist the family in understanding and treating cleft palates, immune deficiencies, feeding problems, infections, developmental delays, congenital defects and many more areas. Our nurses will take the time to explain the care that your child requires, and make certain that you are comfortable with providing that care. We can explain the disease process and treatments, to assist you in knowing what to expect as problems progress. And our nurses will be there to provide the skills necessary to manage complications.
Our therapists can assist your child in improving their physical function and communication skills in all stages of development. Therapy can address mobility issues, feeding issues, communication delays, general developmental delays, and many other areas. As your child’s needs change, the therapists will work with them to develop age and functionally appropriate goals and exercises. Our therapy goal is for your child to be as able-bodied as they can be. All care, whether nursing or therapy, is coordinated with your child’s physician, to assure that everyone involved is aware of limitations and progress.
